Park Early Childhood Center (formerly St. Peter Early Childhood Center) has been part of Lexington’s community since 1979. What began in a small convent building has grown into a vibrant, non-profit early learning center where every child is valued, nurtured, and encouraged to thrive.

Janice has been the Director at Park for 12 years and brings more than 14 years of leadership experience. With a professional background in human resources, she is passionate about fostering a supportive and engaging environment for staff and families alike. Janice and her husband, Steve, have been married for nearly 40 years and share two adult children, two grandchildren, and a 14-year-old bonus daughter.
With over 10 years of experience in early childhood education, Kamri began her career at Park as a floater and has served as Assistant Director for the past eight years. A Lexington native, she enjoys football and attending sporting events. In her free time, Kamri loves spending time with her close friends, family, and her dog, Mia.
Courtney joined Park after retiring from Morehead State University, where she taught early childhood education for 32 years. A credentialed trainer for Kentucky, she continues to share her deep expertise and passion for early learning. Courtney has been married to her high school sweetheart for 31 years, has two adult sons, and is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her first granddaughter in April 2026.
